Within 150 meters from the Park Hotel Porto Gaia you can find a modern fast-food Burger King restaurant, a BP petrol station that has a small convenience store and a newsstand, next to a branch of the Espirito Santo Bank, 2 ATM posts, several traditional restaurants, cafes, a hairdresser, a shoe shop, a florist, plus the in and out of the motorway.

Increasing the radius to 400 meters you will find a new Pingo Doce supermarket, pastry shops, a laundry shop, 2 chemist shops, and also some other small traditional shops at Barão do Corvo Street.
If driving your car you may choose one of the several routes like crossing the Ribeira de Gaia and the D. Luís Bridge lower roadway to get to Oporto Centre in around 10 to 15 minutes even at the rush hour.

REMEMBER THAT: The grand Oporto and the whole North of Portugal can be visited from the Oporto Gaia Park Hotel due to its location along the highway linking the cities of Oporto and Gaia to the surrounding VCI (IC23) motorway, plus all the North main roads network (IP1, IP3, IP4, IC1, IC2, IC28, IC29, etc.).
It is located less than 2 hours from Santiago de Compostela, Bragança or Guarda, 1 hour from Coimbra, and 30 minutes from Braga and Aveiro, all accessible through the aforementioned highways.
It is also located 4 to 5 minutes from the best beaches of Gaia:Pedras Amarelas, Canidelo, Lavadores, Madalena, etc., alongside of its cafes, coffee bars and restaurants boulevards.
The large car park outside the PARK HOTEL Oporto Gaia is free of charge, allowing you to park your car without any waste of time.
